@pipka Instead of downloading any examples, you probably should lern howto ask for help. Extract the zip, open Eclipse, choose Import–>Existing projects into Workspace, select the archive de.spiritlink.jobs_1.0.0.jar select the project and you’re done. Who was meant by “zero competence”?

Download the Jobs Example as RCP (Source included - 10,5 Mbyte) i doen’t work. Please don’t put shit into internet. It is very anoying. I check on 3 diferent mashines with 3 diferent java enviroment and still nothing. Just a zero competence. ((((

Nice example!

In my example i have implemented jobs that repeat after a certain delay like background processes updating the data. In some situations i want to force the job to get the data directly and not after the delay. Do you have some idea’s about how i can manage this?
